Opportunity for Developers

The Glam Apps Platform offers new opportunities for developers to distribute their applications to our network of premium publishers and to share in the revenue on monetized applications with a superior eCPM to those typically seen on social networks.

Approved applications can access:

• Glam's Ad API: Approved applications will get access to Glam's ad API; applications that run within the Glam network of websites can serve Glam's high-value ads, giving developers a superior monetization opportunity compared to the eCPMs found on social networks.

• The Ad API allows developers to integrate standard-size IAB units into their apps. The sizes are 300 x 250, 160 x 600, and 728 x 90. Developers can integrate ad units into their module design or into one of the Suggested Formats supported by Glam Apps. Larger views run on a publisher's websites, so the publisher continues to benefit from the traffic and is incentivized to add your application.

• Glam Apps ad revenue is split on a three-way basis between publishers, developers, and Glam, with developers getting a slightly larger cut of 35%. All three parties have an incentive to mazimize app display views.

• Glam will offer developers reporting on impressions and revenue. For applications using Glam's ad API, Glam collects the payments from media buyers, tracks each page view, and automatically distributes payments to both the publisher and the application developer.

• Higher CPM Opportunities as Part of Media Buys: The Glam Sales Team will review applications on the Glam Apps Platform to include the most popular and/or relevant apps for inclusion in brand advertiser campaigns. If your app is chosen, you will benefit from guaranteed impressions as part of a media buy and the much higher CPMs associated with custom campaigns.

• Access to Content APIs: Approved application also get access to content APIs to search and utilize content across the network including posts, videos, pictures, and comments. For more information, email developers at glam.com.

• Glam Apps Promoted as House Ads: Applications selected by Glam based on their popularity and relevance may benefit from additional promotion through house ads run throughout the Glam Network. We will run your app or an ad for your app, generating massive exposure for your app to millions of unique visitors.

• Open Source The Glam Apps Platform will be open-sourced Q4 2008, allowing any application developer or website to run their own application launchpad.
